April 6, 2026 – Disable Marketing Messages on WhatsApp Business API


Businesses using Hibot’s Marketing Messages API can now disable marketing message sending through the standard WhatsApp Business API /messages endpoint.

Once this setting is enabled:

  • Marketing category templates sent through /messages will be blocked

  • The API returns error code 131063

  • Automatic fallback from /marketing_messages to /messages will also be disabled
